The situation report collates current evidence on diet and health statistics using info-graphics to provide information for policy makers, stakeholders including the food and drink industry, health professionals and consumers to and shows how far we are from meeting the current Scottish Dietary Goals.

The report makes the case for reducing the consumption of discretionary foods and drinks to make significant and measurable improvements to diet and health. Understanding Fife Neighbourhoods

As part of ongoing deliberations, the Fairer Fife Commission have requested that a sample of Fife Datazones in the 20% most deprived in Scotland as identified by the Scottish Index of Deprivation (SIMD) be looked at closely alongside a small and manageable number of key indicators.
